I’m Jordan, the owner and operator of Cordial Cowboy. 👋

Born and raised in Winston Salem, my love for this city and its people runs deep. While Winston has a lot to offer, it’s no surprise that the drinking culture is prominent here. Personally, I’ve been feeling a bit “bar’d out,” and I’m hearing similar sentiments from many folks in our community.

For years, alcohol was central to my social life. As I came to terms with its impact on my mental and physical health, I made the decision to quit drinking altogether. In doing so, I’m enjoying a better quality of life and fresh perspective.

I still believe that everyone should have access to great drinks, so I began to seek out sober-ish replacements. This led me to start Cordial Cowboy, where I’m dedicated to spotlighting and curating alcohol-free choices that are both enjoyable and intentional.

After a few years out from behind the bar, I’m out of retirement and am on a mission to transform social experiences through pop ups, tastings, and classes, with a future goal of opening an NA bar and bottle shop here in Winston Salem! I’m excited to invite you to join me in rethinking social drinking and exploring products that reflect my values of quality and inclusivity.
